Over the past few years I have developed a series of videos to teach my Racing Profits subscribers how to make profit from their Betfair trading in pre-race markets.

I have also received requests from people to develop a beginner’s guide to the basic principles of trading, sharing all I have learned to ensure that they are profitable. So over 4 months I recorded 50 videos of exactly what I do when I trade, what I look for and how I maximise the profits I make from my trading.

I have to agree that much of the training out there is far too complicated for people who are trying to learn to trade on the betting exchanges and this complexity prevents many people from understanding how to approach trading or fails to show them a clear route to developing a successful trading strategy.

The following video gives you an introduction to the training course and further down this page you will find an overview for each week of content in the 6 Week Trading Training.

I have had a lot of requests from people for an overview of the course, showing exactly what each week consists of and how the course builds up knowledge and skills over the 6 weeks.

I recorded a series of 6 videos in which I run through each weeks content.

What will you learn in 6 Week Trading Training Course?

Week 1: Introduction to the betting exchanges

• Welcome to Week 1 in the Trading Profits Video Training Course. In this week we take a look at the betting exchanges and particularly Bettair and Betdaq. The growth in the exchanges over the past 10 years has given bettors a whole host of new angles to make money from their betting and particularly traders who trade the pre race horse racing markets.

Week 2: Understanding the market

• In week 2 we take a closer look at the betting exchange markets and some of the important areas we need to understand as a trader.
• There a 9 videos to watch this week

Week 3: The psychology of trading and setting up a trading bank

• A theory week, in Week 3 we look closely at adopting the correct trader’s mindset to become a profitable trader and in the second part of the week we look closely at setting up your trading bank and how to decide what size bank to use Just the 4 videos to go through but a very important week to put the principles into action. Continue with your trading practice and the final video shows you how to set up Bet Angel top use in Practice Mode.

Week 4: Trading horse racing markets and reading the market

• In Week 4 we move onto horse racing markets, what makes them up and what characteristics they display for traders. In the second part of the week we look at reading racecards and markets effectively including planning your trading day
• This is an intensive week of training with 12 videos to work your way through, so take your time. The final video will give you some tips on using Bet Angel Guardian to help you plan your trading. Take your time and watch these videos through a few times

Week 5: Planning your trading strategy and strategy #1 – Scalping

• In Week 5 we move onto trading styles and strategies and how to successfully decide which strategy to use in which market.
• We look at the most important strategy in any Trader’s armoury – the ability to scalp suitable markets. One of the key weeks and important that you practice your scalping for the remainder of the week after watching the videos

Week 6: Strategy #2 swing trading and bringing it all together

• In Week 6 we focus our attention on the other key trading strategy that you must master as a trader, spotting and riding trends on swing trades
• We also look at the Top 10 mistakes that most traders make and how to prevent them. We finally close out the course with a final video bringing everything together
