The Chartist – ASX Weekly Swing Strategy For Amibroker

The ASX Weekly Swing Strategy is an easy-to-manage, short term system with impressive results. The system aims to buy a dip after a jump in volatility on stocks showing upward momentum. Limit orders are placed before the Monday open and any open positions are closed on Friday at the close.

All parameters are adjustable to enhance risk adjusted performance or trade frequency. The strategy also enables the user to test on specific universes including historical constituents^ for testing without survivorship bias.

The ASX Weekly Swing Strategy has minimal entry parameters and has not been optimised. Testing was conducted on weekly bars across over 3,000 individual symbols over a 22-year period.
