Introduced to Bitcoin in 2013, he dove into crypto investing with enthusiasm, only to face costly challenges that many investors encounter. His story includes losing nearly $1 million to scams, thefts, and exchange collapses due to misplaced trust in platforms like Mt. Gox, one of the largest exchanges at the time, which abruptly shut down, taking with it all of Marc’s Bitcoin. He later faced a similar loss with another major exchange, Cryptsy, whose CEO vanished with millions in crypto assets, again highlighting the risks of relying solely on exchanges to safeguard investments.

Through these experiences, Marc realized the importance of taking full control of his assets and developed a comprehensive strategy for securely managing and protecting crypto. He learned that true security means personally holding private keys and implementing reliable storage solutions. These hard lessons taught him that consistency is essential, not just occasionally practicing security but making it a core part of every crypto transaction.
