You’ve done the analysis and decided to enter into a position using an iron condor. Now what do you do?
In this two-hour online class, BetterTrades trading education coach John White will teach you how to manage the iron condor, which is a put spread and call spread with the same expiration date. The iron condor isn’t normally a position that has to be constantly monitored, but it must be properly managed in order to ensure safety and success.
John will teach you how to determine when to take an early exit from the position and will give you practice drills and examples. He’ll teach you how to roll up and roll down when the underlying moves. John will help you learn how to possibly hedge the position with debit spreads and what the appropriate move might be. He’ll even help you learn when to keep your hands off the position and leave it alone.
John will use historical examples throughout the class and show you a variety of scenarios that cover many of the possible market machinations. These examples can be an eye-opener for many students.
John White joined GLG Partners in 2004 after five years as head of the UK trading desk and the European proprietary trading desk at Morgan Stanley. He started his career in 1991 at SBC O’Connor, and also worked at Warburg and UBS where he traded UK equities, futures and options until 1999.
